Lots of people have told us about their passion and positive experiences of drumming; not only how they feel their TS provides them with a natural flare for the precise rhythm and skills that are involved in this activity, but also how drumming can bring great relief for their tics.

These statements came to life at our drumming workshop in Sheffield held in early 2011, which provided an opportunity for young people to get creative with drums whilst enjoying the fun and enthusiastic atmosphere provided from drumming facilitator and international drumming professional Jonno Lodge

Following the successful pilot, Tourettes Action have been awarded funding from BBC Children In Need to deliver FREE drumming workshops across the UK in 2012.  The workshops are open to children and young people aged between 5 - 18 years old.
