The sky's the limit in 2011!
This summer we want to bring Tourette Syndrome to the attention of every corner of the country by organising a nationwide parachute jump that will catch the eye of the national media. We need your help to make this happen, here's how:
We have access to 21 airbases around the UK, for as many people as possible to participate in a tandem skydive on Saturday 30th July 2011. The more skydivers we have, the bigger the news story; which means raising greater awareness; and funds to continue improving Tourettes Action services and research projects.
Whether you'd like to take the plunge personally, know somebody else who might, or simply want to help fundraise for our brave daredevils. The list is endless for potential sponsorship, including local authorities, local businesses, schools, surgeries, neighbours, libraries, etc! The opportunity to inform the public about Tourette Syndrome has the potential to carry tonnes of impact at regional and national levels!
And not forgetting, the day will be a celebration – of the triumphs and achievements made by people living with TS; and the united achievement of Tourettes Action which, through being nurtured by you, has grown into the vital Research and Support charity that it is today.
If you would like to be involved in our biggest fundraising event of 2011 please contact Helen who will be happy to give you further information of what you need to do to be involved helen.robbins@tourettes-action.org.uk 01276 482 900.
Alternatively you can book your place at your chosen airfield with immediate action!
I look forward to hearing from you!
