What is TS like?

James Ellis-Clarke first featured in our Newsletters in 2007, when he exhibited art-work on the theme of 'What does TS look like?'. Now in his final year of a degree in Glass and Ceramics, James would like your help with inspiration for his next project.

Hello Everyone.

I’m currently in my last year at Uni studying Glass and Ceramics and it would be great if you could send me an email or drop, a post on the facebook group on “What TS looks like”. If you could  suggest a visual image that would be great, a few years ago someone who has OCD described it as a figure of 8 constantly swirling and someone else said it was like a Gazelle (very flighty). It could be a sound or a feeling, anything really.  It would be helpful to know how people who do not have the condition but are around and experience its effects would describe it too.

I’m looking at sounds at the moment and recording things like people talking and laughing in the theatre and hope to vibrate things with the recording, and also holding my breath. I hope to use responses as inspiration for my final project if that’s ok.

Thanks for reading,

All the best

James
