Tourettes Action Conferences

 

We hold two conferences each year on themes relevant to people with TS and their families. We use venues in Liverpool, Coventry and Portsmouth.

Our conferences are an opportunity for anyone with an interest in TS to come and learn more about it and for people affected by TS to meet others facing the same issues.

Our next conference is in Liverpool on Saturday 13 March 2010, theme 'In Control', focusing on Habit Reversal Therapy for people with Tourette Syndrome.

Sessions will include:

Dr Alan Davidson, A Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist from The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery introduces Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT) and explains how it can help people with Tourette Syndrome.

  • Habit Reversal Therapy – the Patient Experience
Liz Murray, Forensic Psychologist and Tourettes Action member gives a personal account of how HRT can be used to manage tics.
