We are very excited to be partnering with the Dutch TS society and Erasmus+ to offer young adults with TS (aged between 18-29) a fantastic opportunity to join a youth exchange 11 day prgramme, taking place in The Netherlands at the beautiful Olde Vechte Foundation between 26th July - 05 August 2019

The youth exchange is funded by Erasmus+, and will cover accommodation, meals and most travel expenses. You will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel insurance (proof of purchase required).

There will be 33 participants plus 7 group leaders from 4 countries including Norway, The Netherlands, Finland and the UK. The groups will live in a big house together in rooms of 4 to 8 people and in international groups (separate male, female and undefined) with group leaders staying in the same building. Participants are also responsible for preparing some of the meals and cleaning and generally getting involved.  The itenrary is not yet finalised but you can expect lots of fun, workshops, activities and outings.

The aim of the intercultural environment that this project brings, is to develop the participant’s social skills, make them more independent, build confidence, friendships and experience new challenges with others who live with TS. There will be a full programme including planned cultural evenings and activities.

Prior to the exchange, you will be encouraged to set some personal goals to be worked on during your time at Olde Vechte. TA and your group leaders will invite you to join an online chat so you can get to know your fellow travellers and support each other before and during the exchange.

The closing date for applications is the 8th February.  Please contact Pippa if youwould like to be sent an application form, or if you have any further questions.
