A one-day workshop for parents and carers of those with Tourette Syndrome

Tourettes Action Parent Workshops are funded by The National Lottery for parents and carers of children with Tourette Syndrome, Tic disorder or FND.

We are offering parents the opportunity to attend a full-day workshop to help them understand TS and the co-occurring conditions.

The workshop will include education on the following:

• What is TS
• How TS is treated
• Pathways to access treatment
• What parents can do to help
• ADHD
• Problems with sleep
• Research into TS
• School

Special guest speakers include:

• Dr Andreas Cavanna - Consultant in Behavioural Neurology, BSMHFT
• Dr Kareem Khan - Research Fellow at UoN
• Dr Bethan Davies - Research Fellow at UoN
• Katie Skinner -  Specialist Teacher
• Natalie Davidson - Teacher and motivational speaker with TS
• Vicki Dawson - Sleep Specialist
• Gary myers - a fathers perspective
• Lucy Toghill - TA Education Manager
