Teacher Training Workshops 2018!

Tourettes Action are very excited to be offering FREE workshops to Education professionals in the forthcoming months, thanks to funding from National Lottery Awards for All .  These workshops will inform and help teachers better understand and support children with TS at school

We will be holding a one day workshop across three different dates and venues, they will be:

Friday 9th February at the Holiday Inn, Bristol Filton

Guest speakers

Clinical session with Amanda Maxwell, Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist from St Thomas' Hospital, and Katie Skinner, Wellbeing Manager and District Specialist Advisory Teacher.                           

Friday 23^rd February at the Holiday Inn Cambridge.  

Guest speakers

Clinical session with Dr Fiona McFarlane, Clinical Psychologist and inspirational talk from Tourettes Action volunteer David Masters.

Friday 23^rd March at the Crowne Plaza, Leeds

Guest speakers

Clinical session with Tamsin Owen, Clinical Psychologist at St Thomas' Hospital, London,  and inspirational talk from Tourettes Action Chief Executive, Suzanne Dobson..

The workshops will run from 10am - 4pm and will include lunch and refreshments.  Please help spread awareness by contacting your child's school and letting them know about this great opportunity.
