"Having Tourette Syndrome has made me a kinder and more conscientious person who is open and willing to take time to get to know others as individuals"
Femi Owolade-Coombes is an inspiring young person with TS who is using his love of coding for the greater good. For the last few years Femi has been running inclusive community events for young coders and creating accessible opportunities. He has been recognised by the industry for his pioneering talents, being shortlisted for and winning several awards.
Femi and his mum, Grace were interviewed by AbilityNet. You can read the full blog here which describes Femi's achievements in greater detail, including his collaborations with Tourettes Action - Femi has run coding workshops at our previous TicFEST events.
Thank you Femi and Grace for continuing to advocate on behalf of the TS community. We can't wait to see what happens next!
