Wednesday 9 March 2022
8pm

We are thrilled to offer this webinar with TS specialist Dr Tara Murphy, Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist at Great Ormond Street hospital.

Dr Murphy has also been involved in leading research on quality of life, educational interventions, neuropsychological assessment and psychological treatments for children with neurological disorders such as Tourette syndrome. She also has a special interest in teaching, delivering and supervising behavioural therapy and group therapy to children with chronic tic disorders and TS.

About the webinar

Emotional regulation can be a challenge for individuals with Tourette syndrome. Strong feelings, particularly extreme anger, can negatively impact the person themselves alongside others in their system. Dr Murphy will describe recent research in this area in addition to her clinical experience of the complex factors and strategies to understand and support anger challenges for people with tic disorders.

Please note that it will not be possible to offer specific clinical advice to the audience.

Tickets cost just £5.
