Weekend for Young Adults with TS 2026

For the very first time, we’ll be hosting a dedicated fest weekend designed exclusively for young adults aged 18–25 with a confirmed TS diagnosis. Thanks to generous funding from UK Youth, 40 young people will have the opportunity to come together for a weekend filled with adventure, meaningful connections, and plenty of fun.

Avon Tyrrell Adventure Centre

Christchurch, Dorset

13 - 15 February 2026

Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre is a leading outdoor learning venue dedicated to the continuous development of young people. Its unique heritage and beautiful site feature a range of accommodation options, including a Grade I listed calendar house, lodges and camping areas.

Through an extensive range of inclusive outdoor activities and tailored programmes, they provide the opportunity for everyone to ‘Experience, Learn and Develop’.

All participants, including essential companions, can take part in activities at the Avon Tyrell Young Adult Weekend, these will include roll out the barrels, archery, campfire, pioneering, climbing, crate stacking and more. In addition, craft, social and team activities on offer throughout the weekend, led by TA “Green Team” for all.

A welcome pack will be sent to participants ahead of the weekend, which confirms activities booked, but may be subject to small changes based on the venue availability.

Accommodation

Adults will be sharing dormitory style rooms throughout the building, except for those bringing an essential companion, who will be allocated their own room. Tourettes Action have sole use of their accommodation throughout the weekend, but DO NOT have sole use of the site. Other groups may be staying in the lodges and campsite

All meals during your stay will be provided by the site team in their kitchen and no self-catering facilities will be available during your stay. Bedding is provided, but towels are not.

All rooms have shared bathroom/toilet facilities and gender-neutral facilities are available. Accessible rooms are available but are limited. Please ask well in advance if this is required.

You will be required to upload confirmation of your TS diagnosis on this form. Without this, we cannot accept your registration, so please ensure you have this to hand.

Please state on the form if you require the following:

• A companion space
• An accessible room
• A support animal place (proof of registration will be required. Please ask for our policy on this if required)
