TICfest Events for 2026

We’re excited to bring you four amazing TICfest events for families in 2026! This year includes some wonderful new locations, thoughtfully spread across different regions to help us connect with even more families. Check out the details below to see what’s coming up.

TICfest East

15 - 17 May 2026

Norfolk

Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Thetford Forest, Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre offers a fantastic range of adventurous and educational outdoor activities.

Activities at Thorpe include archery, climbing, caving, high ropes, zip line, power fan and more! All children aged between 8-18, including siblings, can take part in activities and there will be craft, social and team activities on offer throughout the weekend, led by our TA Green Team.

Accommodation

Larger families will be allocated rooms within the main building and smaller families will be in the pod village, with shared bathroom/toilet facilities. All meals during your stay will be provided and bedding is provided but please bring your own towels. Please note, Tourettes Action have sole use of the accommodation and buildings throughout the weekend, but DO NOT have sole use of the activity site.


TICfest North

7 - 9 August 2026

Cumbria

Brathay Hall, Lake District

Since 1946 Brathay has been inspiring young people to build their own brighter futures. Set in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Brathay Hall offers excellent access to fells, lakes and plenty of space for outdoor adventure.

Activities at Brathay Hall include canoeing, climbing, Ghyll scrambling, high ropes, zip line, leap of faith and more! All children aged between 8-18, including siblings, can take part in activities with additional craft, social and team activities on offer throughout the weekend, led by TA “Green Team” for all ages.

Accommodation

Tourettes Action have sole use of the accommodation and buildings throughout the weekend, but DO NOT have sole use of the activity site. Group accommodation is in three separate buildings, all with bunk-style rooms and shared bathroom/toilet facilities. All meals during your stay will be provided along with bedding but please bring your own towels.


TICfest West

21 - 23 August 2026

North Wales

The Towers - Active Learning Centre, Snowdonia

The Towers Active Learning Centre is located in the heart of one of the most stunning mountain areas of the UK. Offering a range of challenging offsite outdoor activities, The Towers provides the perfect setting for experiencing the best of what Snowdonia National Park can offer.

At The Towers, all children aged between 8-18 can take part in activities for the entire day on Saturday, PLUS the morning of Sunday, which may include the following mountain walking, beach visits, canoeing, traverse wall, rock climbing, abseiling, mine exploration, gorse scrambling and more! Everyone can take part in our much loved “Green Team” activities which always include craft, social and team activities on offer throughout the weekend.

Accommodation

Tourettes Action have sole use of the accommodation and buildings throughout the weekend, but DO NOT have sole use of the activity site. All meals during your stay will be provided by the site team in their kitchen and menus are provided the night before for choice selection. Accommodation is basic, youth-hostel style accommodation with bedding provided, but towels are not. Most rooms will have shared bathroom/toilet facilities.


TICfest South

4 - 6 September 2026

Devon

Heatree Activity Centre, Dartmoor

Heatree is a Christian outdoor residential centre based in Dartmoor National Park in Devon, providing outdoor adventure learning experiences for children and young people.

At Heatrree, all children aged between 8-18 can take part in activities for the entire day on Saturday, which may include archery, beach craft, tree climb, campfire, bushcraft, Earth walk, high ropes, kayaks and more!
Everyone can take part in our much loved “Green Team” activities which always include craft, social and team activities for all ages.

Accommodation

TA have sole use of the accommodation and buildings throughout the weekend, but DO NOT have sole use of the activity site. Accommodation is split into 4 wings. All meals during your stay will be provided by the site team in their kitchen but duvet covers (single) and towels will be required (all other bedding is provided). All rooms have shared bathroom/toilet facilities.
