We are delighted to announce that the Professor Mary Robertson Award (PMRA) for 2025 has been awarded to Dr. Natalia Szejko for her outstanding study:

“More than meets the eye: differs body focused repetitive behavior from self-injurious behavior in patients with tic disorders?”

This prestigious award is open to all junior researchers working in the field of Tourette syndrome and is endowed by Professor Mary Robertson, Honorary Life President of ESSTS (European Society for the Study of Tourette syndrome).

Tourettes Action, who have proudly presented the PMRA for many years, also provide the winner with a prize of £250 in recognition of their contribution to advancing research in this important field.

Congratulations to Dr. Szejko on this well-deserved recognition, pictured here, receiving her award from Professor Mary Robertson in Athens.
