Tic Attire Survey
Posted on 28 January 2026 by Pippa McClounan
Exploring Tic-Related Pain, Injury & Protective Clothing Design
We’re inviting people across the UK to take part in an online survey exploring experiences of tic-related pain, injury, and self-management strategies.
This survey is part of Tic Attire, a co-produced project exploring the idea of protective, sensory-considered clothingdesigned to help reduce pain and injury related to tics. The project is being shaped directly by people with lived experience, and your voice is essential.
What’s involved?
- A short online survey (around 10–15 minutes)
- Questions about tic-related pain, impact on daily life, and what matters most in clothing design (such as comfort, fabric feel, padding, and flexibility)
Who can take part?
- Children, young people, and adults with tics or Tourette syndrome
- Parents or carers responding on behalf of a child
- Anyone living anywhere in the UK
