Help Shape Better Access to Behavioural Therapy for Adults with Tics and Tourette syndrome
Posted on 23 April 2026 by Pippa McClounan
A research study from University of Nottingham
Tourettes Action and Nottingham University is inviting adults with tics or Tourette syndrome to share their experiences of accessing behavioural therapy.
Many people tell us they struggle to obtain appropriate support through the NHS. We want to better understand these barriers and explore whether adults would be interested in online behavioural therapy, such as ORBIT, a digital therapy programme developed by UK researchers.
You can find out more about ORBIT here
Your responses will be anonymous and will help us build vital evidence to support future funding applications, research proposals, and potential NHS provision.
By taking part, you’ll be directly contributing to efforts to improve care and treatment options for the Tourette syndrome community.
