TICfest Events

Our residential weekend events for families aim to bring people in the TS community together for fun and fellowship.

TICfest 2024

We are absolutely delighted to announce the dates for our fabulous TICfest events in 2024.

Registration is open for Expressions of Interest

Please note:

  • This DOES NOT guarantee you a place
  • Please only apply for ONE event
  • Registration closes 15 February 2024

Places are allocated in this order:

  1. Members from the previous year’s waiting list
  2. First-time participants at a TICFest with TS diagnosis
  3. Members with a TS diagnosis who have attended a ‘TICFest’ previously
  4. First-time participants at a ‘TICFest’ waiting for their formal diagnosis

All applications will receive an email on 15 of March to notify you if you have been allocated a place or not. If you are successful, the email will also provide your payment window date. A 1-month window will be given to confirm your place and to make payment.  If you do not confirm your place through making a payment by the deadline, your place will be offered to others on the waiting list, and we will assume you no longer wish to attend.

What is TICfest?

TICfest provides a safe, non-judgemental environment where parents and children can relax, have fun and make friends. We keep the children busy, with new challenges and games, giving parents the opportunity to share their TS stories with others.

All the venues have been chosen for their open spaces, range of activities and friendly staff. The accommodation is warm and practical but very basic - it is NOT hotel standard! Although each family will have their own room (at most venues), the bathroom facilities are generally shared. The catering is good quality and plentiful but don’t expect Michelin stars!

Please note, a family group must comprise a maximum of two adults (over 18) and 3 children, comprising the child/children with TS (18 and under) plus any immediate siblings (18 and under).

If we are oversubscribed, a waiting list will be implemented.

Please note we are unable to accept dogs at TICfest or TEENfest. Fully trained assistance dogs may be considered at the Adult weekend.

What can I expect at a TICfest event?

We understand that some children, and their care givers, may feel nervous about attending their first TICfest event - for many families it is the first time meeting other people with TS. Our supportive team are there to welcome you when you arrive.
