Posted on 5 January 2026 by Pippa McClounan
Research study from the School of Psychological Sciences, Birkbeck University London

Birkbeck University of London is seeking participants for its second study on neuroinclusion in the workplace, funded by Neurodiversity in Business (NiB).
Building on their 2024 report, the research team wants to hear from employers interested in neuroinclusion, neurodivergent employees, and neurodivergent entrepreneurs, freelancers, and contractors.
The study explores how different groups experience work, career progression, and gaps in support. Findings will be shared at the NiB conference on 8 April 2026, with the full report released later that year.
What's involved?
Participants are invited to complete a 10–20 minute online survey co‑designed with people with lived experience, employers, and survey specialists. All responses are anonymous and processed in line with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. No personal identifiers are collected.
Why participate?
Taking part will help improve understanding of neurodivergent work experiences and inform practical recommendations for employers and employees.
