Situated on the slopes of Swaledale, YHA Grinton Lodge is surrounded by stunning scenery and exceptional views of the Yorkshire Dales, and just a 10-minute walk from the village of Grinton. Nestled on Swaledale's slopes with stunning views across and down the valley, YHA Grinton Lodge offers a unique and spacious retreat to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park. 

At Grinton lodge, all participants, including essential companions, can take part in activities. Craft, social and team activities are on offer throughout the weekend, led by TA “Green Team” for all, plus adventure activities will be available onsite on Saturday led by venue staff which may include:

• Bushcraft
• Orienteering
• Nature walks
• Archery and more!

A welcome pack will be sent to participants ahead of the weekend, which confirms activities booked, but may be subject to small changes based on the venue availability.

Accommodation

Adults will be sharing dormitory style rooms throughout the building, except for those bringing a companion, who will be allocated their own room.

Tourettes Action have sole use of the accommodation throughout the weekend, but DO NOT have sole use of the activity site. All meals during your stay will be provided by the site team in their kitchen and no self-catering facilities will be available during our stay. Bedding is provided, but towels are not.

All rooms have shared bathroom/toilet facilities and gender-neutral facilities are available. Accessible rooms are available but are limited. Please ask if this is required.
