Research project from University of Southampton

Researchers at the University of Southampton are exploring ‘interoception’ and how it may relate to tic disorders, particularly functional tic-like behaviours. They have already recruited enough participants with Tourette syndrome and are now especially keen to hear from individuals with FUNCTIONAL TIC-LIKE BEHAVIOURS to take part in the study.

What's involved?

Young people aged between 10-17 years with functional Tic-like behaviours are invited to complete an online questionnaire, with a follow up face-to-face interview . You will receive £50 remuneration for travel and time.

Why Participate?

Findings may help researchers help young people with TS, chronic tic disorders and functional tic-like behaviours.
