Serena Bhandari tells us why interrupting lectures with her vocal tics would be less embarrassing if her classmates were more aware of the condition.

University student, Serena, recently wrote an article for the Guardian newspaper detailing her experience of higher education and Tourette Syndrome.

Serena says 'Fitting in at university can be hard, but for students with Tourette syndrome, you can throw another dozen worries into the mix'.
