We wanted to share this review of our audio Guided Relaxation from Jerry Gidner who lives in the USA.

"I love this!  If you don’t know, it’s a guided meditation recording designed to help you control your tics.  It guides you to focus on the premonitory urges that precede a tic, and work to relax the muscles where you feel that urge.  It works for me.  I don’t know how it works.  But after I listen to it, I am much more able to identify the urge to tic, to feel the urge, to be aware of the urge, and then just not tic.

To be honest, I don’t listen to it as much as I should, or as much as I want to.  But that’s a function of all the other stuff going on in my life, not a flaw of the product.

A huge benefit, and also a warning:  it puts me to sleep!  I have never heard the entire thing in one sitting, because partway through I am out like a light.  I use it sometimes just for that purpose if I am having trouble nodding off.  So as the recording itself says, don’t listen when you are driving, or if you need to be alert.

One other benefit:  it’s inexpensive!  99 pence, which is something like a buck twenty American.  And that helps support Tourette’s Action.

So if you have tics, and want to give something a try, I wholeheartedly recommend that you buy this and give it a try."
