Following the huge success of the 2019 trip, we are very excited to be partnering with Erasmus+ once again to offer young adults with TS a fantastic opportunity to join a youth exchange programme, taking place in Norway next summer.

With the disappointing cancellation of the 2020 trip due to Covid-19, we are absolutely thrilled to learn that plans for 2021 have been approved. Next years trip will take place in Norway from 1 - 8 August, in a town called Ørje, at Sjøglimt leirsted campsite. There will be appx 45 participants including group leaders from 5 countries including Norway, Germany, The Netherlands, Finland and the UK.

The itinerary is yet to be finalised but you can expect lots of fun, workshops, activities and outings. The aim of the intercultural environment that this project brings, is to develop the participant’s social skills, make them more independent, build confidence, friendships and experience new challenges with others who live with TS. There will be a full programme including cultural evenings and activities.

The youth exchange is part funded by Erasmus+, and will cover accommodation, meals and most travel expenses. You will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel insurance (proof of purchase required) plus a contribution of approx. £150 (amount to be confirmed).

You can read a few blogs from Sam Gelling and Dylan Frost who were both lucky enough to participate in the 2019 exchange trip to The Netherlands and look at our photo album for some amazing photos of the group from 2019.

More details will follow soon, including how to apply. Please contact Pippa if you have any questions.
