Help shape the future of research into childhood neurological conditions

To prioritise future research, and secure more funding toward childhood neurological conditions, the British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) and the James Lind Alliance (JLA) are working together in a Priority Setting Partnership (PSP).

The Process

In a previous survey, patients, their families, friends and professionals were asked to suggest their questions about treatments, therapies or procedures aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of children and young adults (aged 0-25 years) with neurological conditions.

1800 questions were submitted by participants. They have been reviewed and an information team have checked the available evidence to see if they have previously been answered by research.

A list of 44 unanswered questions has been finalised by the information team and BPNA-JLA PSP steering group.

This second survey is asking for your help to prioritise this list

It should take 10-15 minutes to complete

The priority questions identified from this survey will go into a final workshop where patients, parents/carers and healthcare professionals will discuss and agree the top 10 most important questions for research.
