2022 Residential trip to Finland for 18 - 30 year olds with TS

Following the huge success of the 2019 trip, we are very excited to be partnering with Erasmus+ once again to offer young adults with TS a fantastic opportunity to join a youth exchange programme, taking place in Finland this summer.
With the disappointing cancellation of the 2020 trip due to Covid-19, we are absolutely thrilled to learn that plans for 2022 have been approved. This years trip will take place in Finland from 8-14 August, at Piispala, a youth center located in Kannonkoski in the north of Central Finland. There will be appx 50 participants including group leaders from 5 countries including Norway, Germany, The Netherlands, Finland and the UK.
The itinerary is yet to be finalised but you can expect lots of fun, workshops, activities and outings. The aim of the intercultural environment that this project brings, is to develop the participant’s social skills, make them more independent, build confidence, friendships and experience new challenges with others who live with TS. There will be a full programme including cultural evenings and activities.
The youth exchange is funded by Erasmus+, and will cover accommodation, meals and travel expenses. You will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel insurance (proof of purchase required) plus your own spending money.
