Our first ever Festival of Gaming was a HUGE success, thanks to the support of our amazing gamers who streamed online for hours during the week of 26 September - 4 October.

A special thank you goes to Sweet Anita who's online event raised an incredible £11,564 during an epic 3-hour live stream with fellow gamers with TS.

Samuel Boyes gamed for 7.5 hours and wore his TA t-shirt throughout, raising an absolutely incredible £2,225!

Keen gamer Leo Cranch, (with some assistance from his dad) streamed live on Facebook for half an hour and then continued offline for 2 more hours playing Battlefront 2 - Star Wars, raising £75 for TA.

12 year old Toby Holmes and his 10 year old brother Harry, played for 12 hours straight to raise a huge £330!

Dylan Frost streamed for the entire length of our campaign, gaming for an hour or two every day, raising £110 for TA.

A huge thank you to all our gamers who got involved to support TA.

Virtual Virgin London Marathon

With the cancellation of the main event back in April, marathoners all over the world were thrilled at the news that the 40th Virgin London marathon would go ahead as a unique race on Sunday 4 October 2020.

It was a very soggy day for the 13 runners and walkers who signed up to complete the 26.2 miles in their own neighbourhoods to earn their one-of-a-kind official VLM medal and running t-shirt. Huge thanks to everyone who supported TA and raised over £1400:

Claire Sheff went for a style over-haul when she decided to go for the chop and donated her long hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss. To support TA, Claire opened a fundraising page and raised an amazing £665! The new 'doo' looks great Claire!

Although he planned to run both Manchester and Yorksire marathons for TA, having both events cancelled, super runner Pete Andrews didn't let that stop him getting the miles in. Having lived with tics all his life, Pete challenged himself to running 70 miles over a number of days, raising £485 for Tourettes Action. Awesome work Pete!

TA supporter extaordinnaire, Emma McNally, along with many others are lacing up their trainers throughout October in their 'Running for Tourettes' challenge. To coincide with Emma's #Togetherwearestronger petition, they have raised an amazing £731 to be split between TA and the Manchester support group. Sign the petition here and help make the change.

Super TA supporter, Bertie Chou, had to change his original Swimathon fundraising event due to Covid-19, and instead undertook a massive Stepathon challenge during August and September, racking up an incredible 915,770 steps! Together with a birthday fundraiser, Bertie has raised a fantastic £832 for TA. Thank you Bertie!

Facebook Birthday Fundraisers

7 people signed up to Facebook's fundraising platform this month, to selflessly raise donations for TA instead of receiving birthday gifts. Not only is this a kind, generous gesture, but it also raises important awareness on social media.

Our HUGE thanks go to the following supporters who have raised £660 this month:

Bertie Chou
Amy Moss
Michelle Lee
Violet Thurtle
Amarion Morrison
