Russian Dolls

The film reflects on the day to day life of someone with Tourette Syndrome. The text is from a piece of writing that I wrote over a week and I invited other people from the online TS community to contribute. I chose words that anyone could relate to, whether you have TS or not, and I chose not to mention Tourettes because I wanted people to connect with it in their own way. The male voice represents the voice of which I don't always have control of with this condition, or the part of me that can often feel very different and not like me. The Russian doll represents the many layers of people with TS and I spent a lot of time as a child being fascinated by them.

"People need to know that TS is involuntary. We don't need pity, but some will always need help, support and understanding"
