TA events calendar

Due to Public Health measures concerning the coronavirus, our workshops and support groups have moved online. We will continue to follow government advice and will keep you updated with developments regarding our in-person events which we hope will go ahead in the latter part of the year.

We are running online support groups for adults, parents and teenagers.  Please click here for further information.

11:00 Manchester Support Group, Sale West Community Centre M33 4QW all meetings will be from 11am - 3pm

Manchester Support Group

Refreshments available - tea, coffee, juice, hotdogs, toasties.

There will be a raffle at each meeting so please bring along any donations on the day.

Please bring your info on a piece of paper (name, email address and contact number). You will then be given a name tag to wear so everyone can remember each others names.

Sensory/fidget toys for adults and children will be available to purchase plus group merchandise, wrist bands, pens, bags.

Activities will be different at each group and depending on the weather there is outside space for football, basketball, netball.

Kent Support Group

The Kent support group is open to families and individuals. Join us for an informal session, starting at 2pm and finishing at 5pm.

Webinar for Teachers - Understanding Tourette Syndrome

If you have a child with TS in your school or moving up to your school for the start of the new school year, then this webinar will teach you basic Tourette Syndrome awareness, highlight some of the possible barriers to learning and recommend strategies that could easily be implemented to best support the child in school.

We will also be addressing the issue of the growing number of cases of sudden onset of tics since the COVID-19 pandemic, and how this can impact a childs education, plus strategies for managing this in the classroom.
