Exciting job opportunity with Tourettes Action

We are looking for a new Chief Executive to lead our next stage of growth and development
Tourettes Action is the only UK-wide charity advocating for and providing support to people with Tourette Syndrome and their families. This year is our 40th anniversary year and we have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring, creative and imaginative Chief Executive to lead our next stage of growth and development.
We’ve identified our priorities for the next five years:
- To continue to consolidate and build our funding base
- To ensure our activities and support are available across the UK to all people with Tourette Syndrome and their families
- To offer new services
- To increase the power of our voice taking full advantage of digital media
- To increase our impact and ability to influence national policy to secure better access to diagnosis and treatment across the country
To lead our team tackling these challenges you are likely to be:
- Experienced at inspiring, leading, and developing an effective team
- A creative and strategic thinker and problem solver
- Able to prioritise tasks and delegate
- An articulate and persuasive advocate
- Experienced at campaigning using traditional and social media
- Experienced in developing and implementing a fundraising strategy
- Understanding of, and open to learning more about, Tourette Syndrome and understanding of the needs of the people who seek our help.
